Southern Utah Elopement

Ben & Johnathan

Ben & Jonathan decided they wanted to elope, which to them meant having Ben’s brother officiate and have me and Brayden as witnesses. So the five of us headed down to Mexican Hat, Utah. This area is named after a rock formation that resembles a sombrero, or a "Mexican Hat." After arriving at our adorable cabins and walking across the street for some surprisingly good food at Comb Ridge, we headed back for the night where Ben & Jonathan surprised us with dessert and a hand-painted card because we happened to be sharing our anniversary with them! (We have the best couples)

Ben & Jonathan chose this location for their elopement because they wanted beautiful red rock, without the crowds that sometimes can come with National Parks. They got their wish. We didn’t cross paths with anyone the whole time we were out there. We woke up before the sun and ventured to our ceremony location. We were surrounded by beautiful red rocks, had the melody of a running stream nearby, and Ben & Jonathan said their ‘I dos” as we welcomed the sun.
