Intimate Beach Destination Wedding — Brayden & Syd Photography

Destination Wedding | New Smyrna Beach, Flordia

Sam & Burke decided they wanted to do an intimate destination wedding with their closest family and friends. After getting engaged in Florida, after one of Burke’s (lead singer of Ofi band’s) shows, Florida’s warm, sandy beaches seemed like the perfect location for their destination wedding. The wedding party (and us) arrived a day before the wedding where we all hung out on New Smyrna Beach sunbathing, tossing the football around, and steering clear of the water because New Smyrna's other name is the “shark attack capital of the world”. The danger of shark bites is made up for with miles of beautiful, sandy beaches perfect for Sam & Burke's destination wedding. After grabbing dinner with everyone at the local fish house, we snuck away for a quick 10-minute shoot to capture those night before the wedding feels. The wedding day was filled with so many laughs, happy tears, and music (of course). We couldn’t have asked Florida for better weather either. It was a beautiful, cloudy, light breeze kind of day which made all the pictures look incredible with even light. After their first look, Burke serenaded Sam with songs inspired by her and their love between beach palms. Next, their closest family and friends gather to watch them say their “I dos” on the beach, followed by food, cake, speeches, and ending with sparklers on the beach.

It was a beautiful day and the most perfect beach destination wedding.
